September Community Events in Kansas City
With fall just two weeks away, you can start looking forward to lots of fun events in Kansas City, MO. In today’s blog, we’re going to cover activities taking place this weekend in the city. - KC Wine Festival: Uncorked, the KC Wine Festival, will take on Saturday, September 7th from 1pm until 9pm at Union Station on 30 West Pershing Road. There will be over 150 wines from across the world, as well as local food trucks, a live DJ, photo booths, and more! The event is for people ages 21 and up, and dress or cocktail attire is recommended. A fun date night activity and a great way to try a new wine!
- Crossroads Music Festival: The Crossroads Music Festival will take place on Saturday, September 7th from 7pm until 11:45pm. Enjoy musicians from the area and from across the country, including Madisen Ward and the Mama Bear, Shy Boys, Undercurrents, and more! A great way to enjoy a night of amazing music with your friends and family.
- Chiefs Day at the Zoo: Enjoy Chiefs Day of the Zoo on Saturday, September 7th at the Kansas City Zoo! Watch the animals play with red enrichment items before the big game starts. If you wear Chiefs apparel, you get $3 off the price of your admission. The event lasts from 9:30am until 5pm. The Zoo is located at 6800 Zoo Drive. A fun event for your entire family to enjoy!
- Mo Neda Walk: Help raise funds to assist those with eating disorders by attending the MO NEDA Walk on Saturday, September 7th at Oak and 47 Streets in Theis Park. Check-in time is at 9am, and the walk end time is 11am. The goal is to raise $30,000. Be sure to register today and take part!
