Community Events

• Riverfest: KC Riverfest takes place tomorrow from 3pm until 10pm at Berkley Riverfront. There will be live music on two stages, family friendly activities and events, food vendors and beverages, and an epic fireworks display once the sun sets! Enjoy one of the biggest Independence Day celebrations in the region!
• Overland Park Star Spangled Spectacular: The celebration takes place at Corporate Woods Founders’ Park on 9711 West 109^th Street and lasts from 5pm until 10pm. Admission is free and there will be performances from State Line Divide and Noe Palma. There will be food trucks, yoga classes a First Watch Veterans appreciation dinner, and fireworks once the sun goes down. A great way for your entire family to enjoy a memorable Independence Day!
• Worlds of Fun 4^th of July: Worlds of Fun will be enjoying a 4^th of July celebration with delicious food from the brand-new Cotton Blossom BBQ, sparklers and a fireworks display, and patriotic music. Military members past and present enjoy free admission too! Your family can also enjoy the rides and attractions in the park all day as well.
• Red, White, and Zoo: The Kansas City Zoo will be hosting Red, White, and Zoo from 8am until 4pm at 6800 Zoo Drive on July 4^th. There will be special activities and events, and families of active and retired military members enjoy $1 off the price of regular admission. Come see the animals and enjoy Independence Day with your friends and family.
